Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the fourth-generation New Maruti Suzuki Dzire on November 11, 2024. The all-new Dzire will succeed the current model, which has been a popular choice in the subcompact sedan segment since its launch in 2017. With this new version, Maruti Suzuki aims to give the Dzire a fresh design and updated features that make it distinct from its Swift hatchback sibling.
The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to get a bold new design with distinct styling to set it apart from the Swift. Spy shots hint at a redesigned front end featuring an upright stance, LED headlights, DRLs, and fog lamps. A large grille with horizontal slats, updated bumpers, and new alloy wheels add to its appeal. The rear may also showcase smoked LED tail-lights for a more premium look.
Maruti Suzuki is bringing a suite of modern features to the Dzire for the first time. The new sedan is expected to include:
These upgrades are set to make the Dzire more competitive against rivals like the Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze.
Under the hood, the new Dzire is expected to feature the Z-Series 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, producing 80.5 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. Transmission choices will likely include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). A CNG variant is also anticipated, though it’s unclear if it will be available at launch.
With the enhanced features and new design, the Dzire’s pricing is expected to be slightly higher than the current model, especially for the top-end variants. However, it will likely remain competitive within its segment, offering value for those looking for a feature-rich compact sedan.
The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire promises to be an exciting addition to the subcompact sedan market with its stylish design, new engine, and upgraded features. With the November 11 launch approaching, Maruti Suzuki aims to keep the Dzire as a top choice among Indian car buyers.
